Faith on the Move – Traveling as a spiritual practice on the journey of faith and making connections between God’s creation, scripture, reflections, prompts, and challenges.

Hi! I’m Jenny. Welcome to a space that is going to explore some of my travels that are designed to seek out God’s people and places to hear stories, learn about cultures, explore nature, and more. My prayer is that there will be something holy in these travels, a pilgrimage of sorts.

I am not sure exactly what this will look like because I don’t want to over plan in such a way that leaves no room for the movement of the Holy Spirit. I have a few places I want to hit – some of which are just for fun, some because my family would not be interested, and others because they deal with historical and hard truths. The rest will happen as it does. I figure God is already there – wherever I may find myself - and will reveal something of importance for me. An additional prayer is that you will find encouragement through my reflections and ideas for further spiritual practices as we take this journey.

Posts will start with some general reflections about me and memories of travel and move towards more details about the particular adventure I am going to embark on soon. And if you don’t mind, I would love to have you along for the ride as I set out to some places. I don’t know where this all leading, but, with God’s help, the journey will reveal what is most important. Here we go!
